The hourly pay rate starts at $20/hour and onwards based on experience in the field. Key Autism Services has recently expanded and is hiring in your area We expect all positions to have a start date of mid to late May. Our training program will help get you equipped for your new positions with bonuses offered upon completion Key provides services for children on the autism spectrum directly under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). This position is working in-home implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy and counselling programs established by a BCBA. Depending on your location, most of the cases are after school hours, so you must have a flexible schedule for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Behavior Therapist Job Responsibilities: Provide one on one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Growth Opportunities in the field of ABA: Flexible Schedules Competitive hourly rates, incentive programs, and bonuses Behavior Therapist New-Hire Skills Training For aspiring BCBA's we are offering University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring Tuition discount with our Partners Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Assistance Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA Experience If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Physical Requirements Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time. Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children. Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
