The Opportunity: VetWise is expanding and seeking passionate Remote Veterinarians licensed in the reputed company to join our growing network! As part of our network, you maintain control over your schedule. You may claim consultations based on your availability and professional preference. This role allows you to practice veterinary medicine in a flexible reputed company while enhancing access to care for pet owners and alleviating the workload for hospitals. Your Role:

• Provide virtual consultations for pet owners in reputed company and additional states/provinces where you hold licensure in accordance with applicable telemedicine regulations
• Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs
• Opportunity to provide care for exotics if desired

Our Requirements:

• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in reputed company
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian
• Strong client communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and critical thinking abilities
• Experience working with exotic species is considered an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates licensed in multiple states/provinces, including: Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland Labrador, Prince Edward reputed company, Florida, reputed company
• A passion for improving access to veterinary care

Schedule

• This is a casual/on-demand role
• Consultations are available based on client volume and our services are offered 24/7, 365 days of the year

Location

• Remote - Licensed in the reputed company

Compensation

• Pay per consult — Average $60-$80/hour depending on appointment volume, species and consult type.
