Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready screens
• Simplify complex intelligence and operational workflows
• Work closely with engineers from concept through implementation
• Help build and maintain a consistent design system
• Design data-heavy interfaces for secure and sensitive environments
• Incorporate feedback from government and national security users

Skills

• Direct defense technology experience is required
• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of UI/UX or product design experience
• Strong portfolio showing complex enterprise or operational software
• Advanced experience with Figma
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
• Comfortable working with sensitive information
• Available on a consistent consulting basis
• Experience with defense, intelligence, cybersecurity, command-and-control, or government software is strongly preferred
• Experience at companies such as Palantir, Anduril, Shield AI, CACI, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, or similar is a strong advantage
