The role involves collaborating with the development team to create engaging and intuitive applications, ensuring usability and consistency throughout the product suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve user experience challenges across multiple products
• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI standards
• Produce mock-ups, assets, and design specifications for developers
• Build a cohesive visual identity that unifies our product suite
• Design experiences that motivate and encourage learners to engage with our apps
• Partner with developers throughout the design and build process to ensure usability and consistency

Skills

• A strong portfolio showcasing recent application/product design work (required for consideration)
• Deep understanding of usability and accessibility standards
• A strong foundation in HTML, CSS and modern design tools
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of Python and PyQt
• Experience designing for educational products
