[Remote] Training Specialist 3 - Senior Instructional Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Global Technical Talent is an Inc. 5000 Company seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to contribute to the HR Enterprise Learning & Development group. The role involves leading the development of learning programs, consulting with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with corporate training requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of learning programs using proven ID models, practices, and methodologies
  • Consult with senior leaders and training delivery partners to close knowledge and skill gaps within the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and align learning projects to strategic initiatives and departmental goals
  • Build and manage productive relationships with internal groups and OU stakeholders
  • Analyze, design, and develop new training curricula, participant guides, job aids, and assessments that are complex in nature
  • May conduct job task analysis and Train the Trainer sessions
  • Maintain/revise existing curricula and learning assets (including assessments)
  • Work with internal clients and subject matter experts to determine program and learning objectives
  • Will design and develop learning assets

Skills

  • Five years of experience with instructional design, graphic design, and/or learning technology
  • Analyze, design, and develop new training curricula, participant guides, job aids, and assessments that are complex in nature
  • May conduct job task analysis and Train the Trainer sessions
  • Maintain/revise existing curricula and learning assets (including assessments)
  • Work with internal clients and subject matter experts to determine program and learning objectives. Will design and develop learning assets
  • Must possess strong analytical and project management skills and have great attention to detail
  • May work as part of a larger project team and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Will develop training design documents
  • Must have a working proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and e-learning software
  • Must have at least five years of experience developing learning assets
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, graphic design, instructional technology, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience applying adult learning theory, including measuring outcomes of learning
  • Experience managing complex technical curriculum maintenance and/or programs
  • Experience developing technical training for new and existing employees
  • Analytical and project management skills and great attention to detail
  • Experience consulting with stakeholders to understand performance and skill gaps, determine learning solutions, and link to goals
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Experience leading teams
