Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Classic Journeys is an award-winning cultural walking tour company that operates tours worldwide. They are seeking a Tour Operations Coordinator to manage logistics, improve guest experience, and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful tour operations.

Responsibilities

• Daily contact with guides, hoteliers, transportation companies, and others with whom we interact to run our tours in 50 countries around the world
• Researching ways to improve/add value to our tours and guest experience
• Building strong relationships with our colleagues abroad
• Maintaining up-to-date information on all tour-related expenses in Excel as well as our company software system
• Collaborating with Sales, Guest Services, Marketing, and other members of our team

Skills

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2+ years of experience in event planning, operations, or a related field
• Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
• Proven ability to work under/meet tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in building/following budgets
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Enjoy independently managing assigned tour regions and working as part of a larger team
• Love of all things travel
• Knowledge of the luxury travel sector is beneficial
• Salesforce experience is a plus
• Not required, but bonus points for you and us if you have lived abroad or have solid travel experience
• This role does not require any foreign language ability to succeed, but if you have foreign language ability, you will have the opportunity to utilize it
