[Remote] Strategic Optical Industry Advisor & Business Development Partner

LensTech Labs Limited is an established ophthalmic lens manufacturing company based in the Caribbean that is expanding into the United States market. They are seeking a highly connected optical industry professional to help execute their U.S. market entry strategy by identifying market opportunities, building strategic relationships, and generating new business.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend target customer segments, geographic markets, and growth strategies
  • Develop a prioritized list of prospective customers and strategic partners
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to secure introductions and meetings
  • Conduct outreach to independent optical retailers, optometrists, ophthalmologists
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline
  • Work directly with company leadership to convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships

Skills

  • 15+ years of experience within the U.S. optical industry
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with a desire to participate in building a growing business
  • Extensive network of relationships across independent optical retailers, optical laboratories, buying groups, and industry organizations
  • Previous experience in sales, operations, consulting, or business development within the ophthalmic lens industry
  • Demonstrated ability to open doors and create business opportunities
