[Remote] Staff Software Engineer

The role of Staff Software Engineer involves owning full‑stack features end‑to‑end, influencing architectural direction, and working directly with technical leadership in a high‑impact engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Own full‑stack features end‑to‑end; from system design through deployment
- Help scale a highly distributed, cloud‑native platform
- Operate with real autonomy
- Influence architectural direction
- Work directly with technical leadership
Skills
- 7–20 years in software engineering, with minimum 5 years at Senior+ level
- Strong background in product‑led tech companies (VC backed, high growth startups or FAANG level)
- Proven track record of shipping full stack products end‑to‑end
- Experience designing and scaling complex relational databases
- FinTech experience a strong plus
- Advanced TypeScript (hands‑on, production systems)
- React (frontend), Node/Express (backend), GraphQL/Apollo
- Postgres, Docker, AWS, Terraform
- Experience building and scaling high‑throughput distributed systems
- Familiarity with AI‑native product development (evals, experiments, datasets)
- Strong SRE mindset: reliability, observability, low‑toil infrastructure
- Product oriented engineer with strong ownership mentality
- Security‑aware and detail‑driven
- Long tenure and progression (2+ years per role)
- Active GitHub and side projects are a big plus
- Comfortable working remotely across US time zones
