They are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Engineer who can operate independently and contribute to backend development and infrastructure efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new backend features
• Maintain and improve infrastructure for a cloud-based Kubernetes application
• Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Support integration of scientific software and algorithms into production systems

Skills

• 5+ years of backend software development experience
• Strong experience with Kubernetes deployment and administration
• Linux systems administration experience
• Experience working with Docker containers
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
• Must be located within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
• Must be able to obtain a US government clearance
• Available for periodic in-person meetings at a Washington, DC office
• PostgreSQL, SQL, PostGIS
• Golang and Python programming
