Skills

• Healthcare and LIMS background
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js engineering
• Microservices design experience
• Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
• PostgreSQL database schema design
• AWS or equivalent cloud experience with Kubernetes
• Unit test frameworks such as jest and vitest
• Playwright or equivalent end-to-end testing experience
• Test design as a discipline
• Engineering quality as a habit
• Strong written communication
• Systems thinking across boundaries
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Specific experience with Confluent
• Experience in healthcare, LIMS, or any FDA-regulated software environment
• Direct experience with Confluent, Redox, or EHR integration work
• Familiarity with requirements management tools like Jama
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.)
