Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Xpert Development is seeking a Software Engineer based in the United States to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and shipping features while collaborating with a distributed engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across our backend and/or frontend systems
• Take ownership of well-scoped projects from implementation through delivery
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and design partners across time zones
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Skills

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases
• Excellent English speaking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a distributed team
• Based in the United States and able to work during standard US business hours
