The Software Engineer will lead the development of API platforms and backend systems, enabling product teams to operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and operation of our API platforms and shared backend systems, ensuring high availability and performance
• Improve the Developer Experience by creating systems that allow our product teams to move faster
• Focus on developing features in pieces, allowing the team to move quickly and build off of reusable building blocks
• Work closely with stakeholders to turn evolving product needs into concrete technical roadmaps
• Utilize and advocate for modern AI-augmented development tools to keep our engineering velocity high

Skills

• Proven experience building and operating backend systems and managing infrastructure as code
• A strong command of GraphQL and REST API design principles and a 'platform-as-a-product' mindset
• Practical experience with authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth, ReBAC, etc.)
• Experience with AI-native workflows (Claude Code, Cursor) and robust CI/CD practices
