Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Abuse Refuge Org. (ARO) is a nonprofit organization focused on helping victims of various forms of abuse. They are seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to design engaging graphics, write compelling copy, and assist with social media management to further their mission.

Responsibilities

• Design visually engaging social media graphics and images aligned with brand identity
• Write compelling, on-brand copy to accompany posts and drive audience engagement
• Assist with Social Media posts and help with increasing our social media following
• Utilize Asana to review tasks and Slack to respond to messages
• Explore trends relating to Social Media pages and introduce them as needed
• Attend the monthly company meeting
• Perform other appropriate tasks or duties as requested

Skills

• Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
• Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Possess a collaborative way of working
• Behave professionally in manner and appearance
• Be consistently organized and flexible
• A team player with demonstrated experience working well with others
• Ability to anticipate and critically think through problems
• This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred)
