Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Frontline Wildfire Defense is a company focused on creating innovative solutions for wildfire safety and climate technology. They are seeking a Senior Software Product Manager to own the software roadmap and drive the evolution of their software products, ensuring they meet customer and business needs while coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own the software roadmap across apps, web, fleet and installer tools, internal tools, and data products
• Translate customer, installer, support, and business needs into clear requirements and PRDs
• Prioritize across revenue, customer experience, reliability, install scale, and support burden
• Build lightweight prototypes and MVPs to validate ideas before build
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch, owning scope, milestones, and risks
• Coordinate with software, firmware, hardware, and data teams to ensure data flow
• Establish simple rhythms for roadmap, release planning, and post-launch learning, and CI/CD pipeline management
• Grow and mentor the software product and function as the team scales
• Stand up key software product processes: development lifecycle, requirements, and release management

Skills

• 7+ years in software product, technical product, or program management
• Track record delivering complex software products from concept through launch
• Technical fluency across mobile/web apps, backend, APIs, data products, and cloud software
• Experience partnering with engineering to define requirements and ship production software
• Systems thinking across software, hardware, field operations, and business strategy
• Startup-comfortable: hands-on and self-directed, with excellent communication and prioritization
• IoT, connected hardware, smart home, climate tech, or mission-critical products
• Mobile app products (iOS/Android and/or React Native)
• Geospatial/mapping, telemetry, AI/ML-enabled, or data-platform products
