Frieda Health is the first digital menopause clinic, combining medical expertise, AI, and gaming technology to support women through menopause. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work alongside their product team, focusing on developing frontend applications and integrating backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Implement features that span across frontend and backend systems
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code that adheres to our teams best practices
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs
• Support the testing and deployment of new features via CI/CD
• Participate in code reviews to receive and provide feedback
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team, product managers, UX/UI designers, medical and regulatory experts to enhance our core products
• Enthusiasm to learn technologies you’re less familiar with

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of development experience with a strong understanding of front end development
• Proficiency in mobile or web frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or React
• Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Spring Boot/Kotlin or a comparable stack
• Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for leveraging technology to improve health and well-being
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, docker, or CI/CD is a plus
