The role involves owning and extending microservices for secure value transfer across blockchain and traditional banking protocols, designing APIs, and collaborating with product and engineering teams on system design.

Responsibilities

• You'll own and extend microservices responsible for secure, reliable value transfer across blockchain and traditional banking protocols
• You'll design APIs used by developers worldwide, integrate with major banks and financial platforms, and collaborate closely with product and engineering on architecture and system design

Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development in object-oriented languages; deep Java expertise is the primary requirement
• Experience leading small technical teams (2–4 engineers) on architecture and design decisions
• Solid background in payment systems — credit cards, bank transfers, payment rails
• Strong RESTful API design and development fundamentals
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and SQL schema design
• CS degree or equivalent
• Must be US-based with meaningful Pacific Time availability
• Go is used but secondary
• Web3/blockchain exposure is a plus, not a requirement
