They are seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to take ownership of client campaigns, develop bespoke strategies, and stay ahead of industry changes to deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead bespoke SEO strategies for a mixed portfolio of eCommerce and service based businesses, aligning organic search activity with wider business objectives, commercial goals, and revenue targets
• Take full ownership of SEO campaigns, ensuring strategies are executed effectively and deliver measurable business impact
• Stay at the forefront of SEO, AI search, and digital marketing developments, proactively identifying opportunities and ensuring clients benefit from industry changes before their competitors
• Conduct advanced keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis to uncover growth opportunities
• Perform technical SEO audits and provide solutions for complex issues including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, rendering issues, and structured data
• Lead website migrations, redesigns, and other major SEO projects while minimising risk to rankings, traffic, and conversions
• Oversee authority-building and link acquisition strategies to improve organic visibility and domain strength
• Analyse campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations and strategic next steps
• Act as the strategic lead for clients, hosting monthly and quarterly review meetings, presenting insights, and confidently communicating recommendations
• Collaborate with developers, designers, content teams and other stakeholders to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented effectively
• Support and mentor junior team members, helping maintain high standards across the agency

Skills

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on SEO experience, with a proven track record of executing successful SEO strategies that delivered measurable business results
• Extensive knowledge of technical, on-page, off-page, local and content-led SEO
• Proven ability to develop bespoke SEO strategies aligned with client objectives, commercial goals and revenue targets
• Strong technical SEO expertise, including website migrations, redirects, site architecture, indexation, crawlability, rendering, Core Web Vitals, and structured data
• Advanced proficiency with industry-leading tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and similar platforms
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, diagnose issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to connect SEO performance to wider business objectives
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Passion for staying ahead of industry developments, algorithm updates, AI search trends and emerging technologies
• Agency experience is a big plus!
