They are seeking a Senior QA Engineer specializing in backend and API testing to ensure the quality and reliability of their services through automated testing frameworks and collaboration with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of backend services and REST APIs powering our platform
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated API test frameworks
• Build and execute automated integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end API tests
• Validate RESTful APIs, request/response contracts, authentication flows, and business logic using tools such as Swagger and Postman
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to understand system architecture, service dependencies, and data flows
• Perform backend validation using databases, logs, and monitoring tools to investigate and debug issues across distributed systems
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure fast and reliable delivery
• Configure and maintain Allure Report / Allure TestOps integrations for test reporting, analytics, and test management
• Improve test coverage, framework maintainability, reporting, and execution performance
• Participate in code reviews, quality initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and engineering standards
• Advocate for automation best practices, API reliability, and high-quality software delivery

Skills

• 4–6 years of QA Automation experience with strong focus on API and backend testing
• Hands-on experience in API automation
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and experience building scalable test automation frameworks
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and complex backend workflows
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience working with Allure Reports and Allure TestOps for test reporting and test management
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JMeter
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, or message brokers for backend validation
• Strong debugging and analytical skills with ability to investigate issues using logs and monitoring systems
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for automation, clean code, system reliability, and continuous improvement
• Experience working with DS&AI teams, high-level knowledge on AI and ML projects
• Experience with Python apps
