The role involves managing Medicaid programs and collaborating with federal, state, and community partners to ensure compliance and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiative workstreams and governance forums; prepare agendas and materials
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans
• Translate policy requirements into actionable tasks
• Establish and maintain project artifacts like RACI matrices and RAID logs
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans
• Coordinate with program offices and external partners
• Support change management and documentation processes
• Coach junior PMs and independently drive complex initiatives

Skills

• 7 years of experience leading large, multi-workstream initiatives
• Ability to drive cross-functional coordination and facilitate productive meetings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using project controls and tools
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience in Medicaid or CMS-facing initiatives
• Experience with Section 1115 demonstrations or similar programs
• Familiarity with government operations or regulatory implementation
• PMP or similar project management certification
