The role involves collaborating with a team to ensure network connectivity and proposing design improvements for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and connectivity
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, addressing any issues that arise promptly
• Collaborate with other network staff to propose and implement design improvements for large-scale network projects, including Fortinet and Cisco environments
• Document network configurations and changes to maintain accurate records and facilitate troubleshooting
• Interact with internal clients to understand their networking needs and provide effective solutions

Skills

• 10+ years of experience in related IT infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols
• Hands-on experience in configuring BGP, OSPF, IPSEC site-to-site VPN, and VoIP
• Experience with enterprise remote access solutions such as SSL VPNs
• Proficient with backup and restore technologies and best practices
