Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Leads and Architects to define development patterns for REST APIs
• Gather requirements, create design documents, and develop, test, and deploy APIs
• Provide technical solutions, enforce coding standards, and address production incidents
• Contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to Enterprise Architecture standards across business, application, integration, data, and infrastructure domains

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or higher, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in Technology, Senior Consultant, or related occupation
• Progressive experience in Java/Java 8
• Progressive experience in Spring MVC
• Progressive experience in Struts 2
• Progressive experience in Oracle
• Progressive experience in JavaJ2EE
• Progressive experience in Junit 5
• Progressive experience in Couch DB
• Progressive experience in REST web services
• Progressive experience in Kafka
• Progressive experience in Docker
• Performing unit testing, utilizing Junit
• Using cucumber for integration testing
• Microservices development, applying the Dropwizard framework
