As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and operate cloud-native microservices, enhancing backend systems and mentoring fellow engineers while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native microservices for our financial services platform
• Develop scalable and resilient backend systems using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot
• Own features end to end, from technical design to implementation, testing, and production
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices using modern DevOps tooling
• Mentor engineers and drive quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices

Skills

• Several years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong backend focus
• Deep expertise in Java and/or Kotlin and frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and Kubernetes-based environments
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, and design patterns
• Experience with databases and messaging systems such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
