Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline
• Solid experience developing in C++/C#/Java
• Solid hands-on experience with Perl, Python, Informix, Postgres
• Good hands-on experience with REST API development
• Server and/or daemon Development with an emphasis on web/micro services
• Functional and Object Oriented Design and Development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable CI/CD experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Focus toward writing code like a beast
• Ability to pick up new technology and switch between tech stacks with a minimum of fuss
• Are comfortable working on backend code, services, data stores, and infrastructure
• Architecture and design capabilities
• Experience in writing modern software deployed in the cloud
• Are comfortable with encryption schemes, modern APIs, and frameworks
• Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively
• Adaptability, versatility and dependability as a member of a high functioning agile and dynamic team
• A test-driven development approach and enthusiasm to work and take responsibility for any stage within the software development life-cycle as required
