AppLab Systems, Inc is seeking an experienced SAP WFM – Field Operations Consultant for their direct client in the Oil and Gas Industry. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting SAP WFM solutions to optimize field service operations, including scheduling and dispatching for meter technicians and network engineering crews.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP Workforce Management solutions (SAP FSM / Click / WFM tools)
• Support end-to-end field service lifecycle: work order creation → scheduling → dispatch → execution → closure
• Provide ongoing system enhancements, upgrades, and L3 support
• Design and manage field crew scheduling and dispatch processes for:
• Meter technicians (installation, maintenance, meter reading)
• Network engineers (fault resolution, outage management, infrastructure maintenance)
• Optimize scheduling using:
• Skills-based assignment
• Territory-based routing
• Priority/SLA-based dispatching
• Ensure efficient real-time dispatch for emergency and planned work orders
• Improve workforce utilization and reduce travel time through intelligent routing
• Drive automation in:
• Crew allocation
• Shift planning
• Workload balancing
• Support large-scale field operations environments (utilities, telecom, energy)
• Collaborate with:
• Field Service Managers
• Dispatch teams
• Maintenance and network operations teams
• Gather requirements specific to metering operations and network service delivery

Skills

• Experience in SAP WFM (Workforce Management) solutions
• Ability to configure and implement SAP Workforce Management solutions (SAP FSM / Click / WFM tools)
• Experience supporting end-to-end field service lifecycle: work order creation → scheduling → dispatch → execution → closure
• Capability to provide ongoing system enhancements, upgrades, and L3 support
