As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify potential customers, initiate conversations, and generate qualified meetings for the sales team, providing a launchpad into professional B2B sales.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily outbound calls and outreach to prospective customers
  • Execute structured email and multi-touch prospecting campaigns
  • Research target accounts and build prospect lists
  • Engage decision-makers across relevant business functions
  • Understand customer challenges and operational needs
  • Qualify prospects against Newo.ai's target customer profile
  • Convert outreach into scheduled discovery meetings for Account Executives
  • Support pipeline development and opportunity tracking
  • Track outreach activity and engagement within CRM
  • Maintain accurate notes, follow-ups, and next steps
  • Consistently achieve weekly activity and meeting targets
  • Work closely with leadership on messaging and targeting
  • Provide real-time feedback from customer conversations
  • Continuously improve outreach approach and scripts

Skills

  • 0–2 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience
  • Must be located in Ohio
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and handling rejection
  • Competitive, driven, and goal-oriented
  • Coachable with a growth mindset
  • Organized with strong execution discipline
  • Experience using CRM or sales tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Interest in sales, operations, or entrepreneurship
  • Wants to build a long-term career in sales or business
