[Remote] Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the driving force behind our pipeline, connecting K-12 educators and districts with the tools that transform student outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound campaigns and engage prospective customers via email and phone
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Field Sales team
  • Promote and follow up on events and marketing campaigns
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and support trial conversions
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and contribute to campaign reporting
  • Stay informed on Edmentum’s offerings and the evolving K–12 landscape

Skills

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Experience or strong foundational skills in consultative, solution-based selling
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM
  • Comfortable using virtual communication tools such as Zoom
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to craft clear, engaging emails and presentations
  • Fast learner who can absorb complex product and program details quickly
  • Ability to articulate instructional or technical concepts with clarity
  • Self-starter who manages multiple priorities well
  • Strong time management skills
  • Collaborative by nature with a track record of building productive cross-functional relationships
  • Coachability and growth-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory as business needs require
  • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales, business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role
  • Experience in edtech or the K-12 space
