Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Python AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills and experience with AI/ML frameworks, focusing on building scalable, production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI/ML applications using Python
• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models
• Work with large datasets for data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering
• Integrate AI models into web applications, APIs, and business systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams
• Monitor model performance and improve accuracy over time
• Implement and maintain REST APIs for AI services
• Document code, processes, and technical solutions

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Experience with AI/ML libraries such as: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Experience with data manipulation libraries: Pandas, NumPy
• Familiarity with SQL and databases
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend development
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Experience with cloud services such as: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
