Xcel Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation and accountability for scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures. The role involves developing project plans, establishing communication strategies, and providing direction to project teams to achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation
• Develop project plans and drive project milestones to ensure timely delivery
• Establish and maintain an effective communication plan with project teams and key stakeholders
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to project resources
• Ensure project teams are provided with the necessary resources and support to reach defined objectives
• Oversee and ensure effective change management throughout the course of the project
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reports
• Monitor and report on project scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proven project planning and organizational abilities
• Sound judgment and effective decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
