Lorven Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced PACS Project Manager to lead and coordinate PACS upgrade initiatives across their healthcare network. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in PACS upgrades, workflow optimization, and a strong understanding of change management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee PACS upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations
• Engage stakeholders (Radiology, IT, Vendor, Clinical End Users) to gather requirements and communicate project milestones
• Work closely with technical teams to manage system configurations, data migrations, and integrations with RIS, EMR, and VNA
• Coordinate and validate change and merge processes for patient and study records, ensuring data integrity and compliance
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and change control logs
• Provide training and support to end-users on upgraded PACS features, focusing on change/merge workflows
• Troubleshoot post-upgrade issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience managing PACS projects, including upgrades or migrations
• In-depth knowledge of PACS architecture, DICOM, HL7, and integration concepts
• Experience with PACS change/merge functionalities (e.g., patient/study merge/unmerge) is highly desirable
• Strong project management skills; PMP or similar certification is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities
• Previous hands-on experience with major PACS vendors (GE, Philips, Sectra, Fuji, etc.)
• Familiarity with clinical imaging workflows and regulatory standards
• Experience in a multi-site healthcare environment
