Pyramid Consulting, Inc is seeking an Oracle Healthcare Business Consultant with expertise in Python and Claims for a contract opportunity. The role involves analyzing healthcare claims data, supporting leadership with data-driven recommendations, and developing analytics solutions using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Healthcare Analytics & Consulting
• Analyze and interpret US healthcare claims data to identify trends, risks, operational gaps, and strategic opportunities
• Support leadership with data-driven recommendations and executive reporting
• Translate complex healthcare and business requirements into actionable analytics solutions
• SQL / Oracle Development
• Write and optimize complex Oracle/SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and data validation
• Develop scalable datasets, data models, and reporting structures supporting healthcare operations and claims analysis
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation across multiple data sources
• Python & Data Engineering
• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, ETL processing, and workflow optimization
• Develop reusable analytics workflows and support process automation initiatives
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reporting accuracy
• Power BI & Reporting
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive-level reports
• Create KPI tracking, operational metrics, and claims performance reporting
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver intuitive, business-friendly visualizations
• Cross-Functional Leadership
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives involving business, operations, analytics, and technology teams
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Coordinate with business partners to drive strategic and operational improvements

Skills

• Education-Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience-7+ years of experience in: Healthcare analytics, Business consulting, Business intelligence, Data analytics or related fields
• Required Technical Skills- Oracle / SQL: Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries Minimum 4+ years
• Python: -Hands-on coding experience for analytics, automation, or ETL Minimum 2+ years
• Power BI (or similar BI tools): Dashboard development and reporting experience Minimum 1+ year
• Healthcare Domain: Prior experience working with US Healthcare Claims Data, Healthcare payer systems, Revenue cycle / claims analytics
• Experience with EDI / X12 transactions (837, 835, 834)
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and claims lifecycle
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives
• Exposure to: ETL pipelines, Data Warehousing
