[Remote] New Business Development Sales Specialist

Innovative Systems Group is a rapidly growing IT solutions provider headquartered in Glen Ellyn, IL, delivering tailored managed services to mid-market and enterprise clients. They are seeking a seasoned New Business Development Sales Representative to identify and close new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and foster long-term client relationships, particularly in the Florida market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with a focus on Managed Services, IT projects, and SOW-based solutions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the customer base in the greater Chicago area and nationally
  • Leverage existing network and cold outreach to build a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Collaborate with the technical and delivery teams to craft tailored solutions that address client needs
  • Lead client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and sales activities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients and ensure satisfaction through effective account management
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Promote offshore delivery capabilities and help bridge client communication with global delivery teams

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of proven IT sales experience, focusing on MSP, project-based services, or SOW-driven engagements
  • Experience in selling offshore IT services is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the technology services industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Highly self-motivated with a hunter mentality
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in selling offshore/nearshore services is highly desirable
