[Remote] Network Implementation Engineer II - Arizona

Remote · Japan Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Forged Fiber is committed to delivering fast and reliable connectivity through a state-of-the-art open-access fiber network. The Network Implementation Engineer II will manage engineering requests, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure project execution within the assigned geographic area.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments (FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, etc.)
  • Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections to ensure accuracy and construction readiness
  • Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and utilize tools such as AutoCAD/CAD systems, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office
  • Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines
  • Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and complete record updates as needed

Skills

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience
  • Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Technical design proficiency (3GIS, OSP engineering tools, redline review)
  • Strong communication & collaboration with vendors, city officials, and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented & organized with strong multitasking abilities
