Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a remote Network Cloud Engineer to join a Federal Program. This role focuses on supporting a large-scale enterprise cloud modernization initiative by designing and managing cloud network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support cloud network infrastructure across platforms such as Azure, OCI, and GCP
• Manage and configure networking components including firewalls, VPNs, routers, virtual networks, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and more
• Monitor network performance, ensure system availability, and perform capacity planning and optimization
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including IAM and secure network configurations
• Provide Tier II/III troubleshooting and support for network-related incidents and infrastructure issues

Skills

• Bachelors Degree and 7 years of experience OR Masters Degree and 4 years of experience
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, GCP) and EKS Cluster
• Experience with AWS Security Group deployment using Terraform
• Proficiency with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, TFTP, DHCP, SSL, and NAT)
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, SDN, and virtual networking concepts
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management
• Ability to participate in 24/7 on call rotation
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance
