[Remote] National Account Manager - Lowe's Pro

The National Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for pressure-treated wood products, while ensuring excellent communication and service with retail partners.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national retail accounts, ensuring consistent communication, service, and execution
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives for targeted product categories, with emphasis on pressure-treated wood and ProWood distribution items
  • Develop and execute account-specific business plans to achieve revenue, profit, and volume targets
  • Drive penetration of new products and services into existing retail accounts
  • Participate in product line reviews, gathering competitive insights and market feedback to inform pricing, product development, and merchandising strategies
  • Attend and lead meetings with national retail accounts to present opportunities, review performance, and strengthen partnerships
  • Collaborate with National Service Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Customer Service Representatives to address field requests and implement action plans
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Foster relationships with National, Regional and Local Pro Sales Team
  • Launch and manage new business programs, merchandising initiatives, and promotional campaigns with retail partners
  • Ensure alignment between retail requirements and UFP operational capabilities
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to design programs that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
  • Manage account assets, including inventory turnover, and aged inventory
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and account updates
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of customer-facing sales or account management experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or building materials
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic account plans
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset
  • Ability to travel as needed for account meetings and industry events
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills
