The role involves performing mechanical and harness routing design activities, releasing engineering drawings, and supporting aircraft modification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Flight Test Instrumentation team working the F-35 lines of business
• Perform mechanical and harness routing design activities for the installation of flight test equipment and data system components
• Responsible for releasing engineering drawings
• Work instructions
• Supporting airworthiness documentation
• Monitoring fabrication activities
• Supporting aircraft modification

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, preferred, STEM degree required
• 3+ years of recent CATIA V5 experience
• 3+ years of 2D/3D mechanical design experience in an aerospace environment
• Active Secret Clearance Required
• Previous experience with instrumentation (flight or ground) preferred
• Previous experience with the F-35 program-specific tools and processes desired
