This role offers 100% remote flexibility as an Independent Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

Transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings with precision. Produce verbatim transcripts from audio recordings while adhering meticulously to style guides. Required Skills Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines. Excellent literacy skills encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar. Ability to efficiently collaborate in a remote setting. Typing proficiency with a focus on both speed and accuracy. Capability to process sensitive or challenging audio/text content. Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. Must be able to successfully pass a background check. Court reporting students are encouraged to apply. Note: This position is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
