They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-native applications within a modern AWS environment, focusing on solving complex business problems and driving technical innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services on AWS
• Architect and implement solutions for complex business and technical challenges
• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications
• Troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems using logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring tools
• Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions
• Collaborate across engineering teams supporting multiple enterprise applications
• Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides
• Participate in production support and incident response activities

Skills

• 8–10+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in production environments
• Experience participating in incident response and production support rotations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Serverless architecture experience
• GitLab CI/CD expertise
• Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government
