Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Amatriot Group is seeking a Junior Backup / Storage Engineer for a TSA – DHS opportunity. The role involves supporting enterprise backup, restore, and storage operations across various environments, ensuring compliance with RTO/RPO requirements and disaster recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with disaster recovery (planning, testing, execution) and experience supporting 24x7 operations/on-call environments
• Ability to follow runbooks, SOPs, and change management processes in compliance-driven environments
• Experience coordinating with infrastructure, database, network, cloud, and incident teams, maintaining documentation and operational records

Skills

• Familiarity with disaster recovery (planning, testing, execution) and experience supporting 24x7 operations/on-call environments
• Ability to follow runbooks, SOPs, and change management processes in compliance-driven environments
• Experience coordinating with infrastructure, database, network, cloud, and incident teams, maintaining documentation and operational records
• Bachelor's degree (IT/CS/Engineering or related, or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years relevant experience supporting enterprise backup, restore, and storage operations across on-prem, data center, and hybrid environments
