Lakeshore Talent is in search of an IT Applications Specialist III – HRIS to join a dynamic and collaborative team supporting enterprise-level HR systems and applications. The role involves supporting and enhancing business-critical HR applications, leading project activities, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and business users.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support enterprise-level applications in development and testing environments
• Provide Tier II support, troubleshooting system performance, user issues, and transaction errors
• Perform system administration, including scripting and monitoring IT services
• Support databases, including SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS
• Collaborate with end users and vendors to resolve technical issues
• Assist with implementation, configuration, and testing of new system updates
• Act as a primary point of contact for business system users, ensuring high customer satisfaction
• Lead and support day-to-day activities of the application support team
• Assist in IT project execution (small to large scale)
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system knowledge
• Support mobile device integrations and functionality
• Drive process improvements and system optimization initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting/Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in application support, systems integration, and system administration
• Experience supporting business-related and enterprise-level systems (Tier II support)
• Strong understanding of relational databases and system architecture
• Experience with: Active Directory, UKG PRO - required, Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Light programming/scripting (PowerShell, VB, T-SQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of IT General Controls and compliance standards
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with HR systems and Human Resources processes
• Experience translating technical concepts into user-friendly communication
• Background in process improvement and system optimization
