Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote HR Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for an individual passionate about starting a career in Human Resources and eager to make an immediate impact from a remote setting. While this position is fully remote, the successful candidate will operate within a team primarily based out of our Chula Vista, CA hub, connecting regularly through virtual collaboration tools. As a Remote HR Coordinator, you will be a vital support for our Human Resources department, assisting with a broad range of HR functions that ensure smooth operations and an outstanding employee experience. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency of our talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative processes. This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience across various HR disciplines, working alongside seasoned professionals who are committed to mentorship and your professional development. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full cycle of recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Facilitate the remote onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and providing a welcoming introduction to Career.zycto.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues to senior HR team members as needed.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as requested, gathering data and insights to support strategic HR initiatives.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, training programs, and employee engagement events.
  • Administer benefit programs by assisting employees with enrollment and related questions, coordinating with benefit providers.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and training sessions, managing calendars and virtual meeting logistics. Required Skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of professional interaction with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
  • A foundational understanding of HR principles and best practices (can be academic).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in an administrative or HR-related role.
  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms.
