Remote Hospitality Operations Specialist

Our client is revolutionizing the hospitality industry and is looking for a driven and experienced Remote Hospitality Operations Specialist to join their fully remote team. This position is ideal for an individual with a deep understanding of hotel, restaurant, or event management operations who thrives in a virtual environment. You will be instrumental in optimizing operational efficiency, implementing best practices, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across a portfolio of properties or services, all managed remotely. Your role will involve analyzing operational data, developing strategic recommendations, and supporting on-site teams through virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

Conduct remote analysis of operational data from various hospitality venues to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, service quality, and cost management. Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for front-of-house, back-of-house, and guest services. Provide virtual training and support to on-site management teams on new procedures, systems, and best practices. Utilize technology and digital tools to monitor performance metrics, such as occupancy rates, customer satisfaction scores, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and food cost percentages. Collaborate with technology partners to integrate and optimize property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other operational software. Assist in developing budgets and forecasting operational expenses. Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes remotely. Create comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key operational findings and strategic recommendations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across all managed locations, providing remote guidance. Contribute to the development of innovative service delivery models suited for a remote operational oversight structure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in hospitality operations, preferably in a multi-site environment. Demonstrated expertise in hotel operations, food and beverage management, or event planning. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency with various hospitality software, including PMS, POS, and reservation systems. Exceptional virtual communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting. Experience in developing and implementing SOPs and training programs. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving operational excellence. Familiarity with current trends and technologies impacting the hospitality sector.
