Healthcare Shares is a healthcare-focused venture capital fund investing in digital health, medical technology, and healthcare innovation. They are seeking experienced business leaders to serve as Members of the Board of Advisors, providing strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies while having the opportunity to invest in the fund.

Responsibilities

• Provide perspective on investment strategy, sector trends, competitive dynamics, and portfolio construction
• Offer business insight during investment evaluation regarding market opportunity, product-market fit, revenue models, defensibility, and scalability
• Serve as a sounding board to founders on leadership, hiring, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, pricing, and operational scaling
• Advise portfolio companies on customer acquisition, enterprise sales, payer/provider partnerships, product strategy, and operational execution
• Leverage your network to support portfolio company growth through introductions to customers, partners, talent, and potential investors
• Provide guidance to companies incubated within our venture studio from formation through early growth

Skills

• Former or current founder, CEO, executive, operator, or senior leader in healthcare, technology, or venture-backed companies
• Experience scaling companies, raising capital, leading go-to-market strategy, or building high-growth teams
• Strong commercial judgment and strategic thinking
• Interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and early-stage investing
• Ability to mentor founders at critical inflection points
