Kforce Inc is seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure-heavy initiatives in Fort Myers, FL. The engineers will be responsible for designing and delivering full-stack applications, collaborating on system patterns, and managing multiple initiatives while operating independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own full-stack applications from initial architecture through delivery
• Stand up backend services and APIs where none currently exist
• Collaborate on defining system patterns, ingress/egress, and infrastructure as projects evolve
• Work across multiple concurrent initiatives (approximately 10-12)
• Operate independently with minimal documentation or hand-holding
• Break down complex problems, execute solutions, and move work forward autonomously

Skills

• Strong full-stack background with a heavy infrastructure mindset
• Experience working in small teams, startups, or early-stage environments
• AI Tooling: Experience working with modern AI tools (Claude currently in use)
• Comfortable operating with limited structure and evolving requirements
• Self-directed, accountable, and proactive
• Clear sense of ownership from problem definition through execution
