The Freelance Meteorological Production Assistant will support the Weather Presentation Team by creating engaging weather graphics and ensuring a consistent visual presentation for forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Support Weather Presentation Team by using templates to create eye-catching weather graphics
• Assist weather producers in updating daily weather graphics using IBM Max
• Monitor and analyze weather data to make informed decisions about forecast graphics
• Work closely with Weather Producers/Meteorologists to ensure consistent look, feel, and process

Skills

• Experience using IBM MAX
• Passion for understanding effective weather communication
• Solid understanding of meteorology and atmospheric processes
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work cohesively in a remote work environment
• Spectacular communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work under intense deadline pressure
• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of a live production environment
• Willing and able to work under tight deadlines while juggling several tasks at once
