Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. m.ph beauty is a growing startup seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join their team. The role involves supporting financial planning, month-end close, expense management, and reporting, while also participating in cross-functional projects to build scalable processes as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards
• Analyze monthly financial results and investigate budget to actual variances
• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning
• Build ad hoc financial models and analyses to support business decisions
• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with accruals and prepaid schedules
• Help ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Administer the company's travel and expense program
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
• Manage corporate credit card reconciliations
• Partner with employees to resolve expense related questions
• Respond to requests from leadership with timely financial analysis
• Support operational initiatives across sales, marketing and operations
• Improve financial processes through automation and documentation
• Assist with audit, tax, banking, and financing requests
• Participate in systems implementations and process improvements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or investment banking
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Comfortable working with large datasets and financial modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-changing startup environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Power Query is a plus
