The Finance Professional role involves driving financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision-making to support claims administration and payment integrity.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions in support of Claims Administration and Payment Integrity (CAPI)
• Collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions for optimal staffing and inventory management practices
• Develops and maintains staffing models in Excel for CAPI
• Gains understanding of business operation for accurate inventory forecasting
• Provides staffing/inventory variance analysis to operators
• Engages in root cause analysis to determine explanations for trend variances
• Connects operations and finance to achieve common goals

Skills

• Bachelor's degree ideally in finance, accounting or similar field
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
• Intermediate or advanced level user with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytic skills with attention to details
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous health insurance industry experience working in a Finance/Accounting department
• Evaluation and development of financial models
• Managerial or Cost Accounting experience
• Experience with Access, SQL, and multi-dimensional databases
