This role involves partnering with executive leadership to enhance financial operations and drive improvements through data and technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting processes
• Develop key financial metrics and dashboards to support strategic decision-making
• Drive business transformation initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
• Oversee budget, procurement, and business intelligence functions while mentoring a team of finance leaders
• Partner cross-functionally with leaders across the organization to support strategic and financial objectives
• Prepare executive-level financial analyses, presentations, and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve resource allocation, and strengthen financial performance
• Lead or participate in special projects and other strategic initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related
• 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably within non-profit or higher education
• Strong background in budgeting, financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic finance
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems aptitude
• Exceptional communication, analytical, leadership, and project management skills
• CPA preferred
