Responsibilities

• Fill course instruction needs in the Department of Education and Human Development
• Teach one or more courses on an as-needed basis
• Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and in one or more modalities ranging from in-person to asynchronous online
• Provide instructional opportunities in doctoral level content, including dissertation writing and support

Skills

• Master's degree in a related field
• Doctoral (or terminal degree) in a related field (required to teach in graduate-level programs)
• Expertise in content aligned with a departmental program area
• A commitment to inclusive teaching, creating an inclusive learning and working environment, and working alongside persons with diverse backgrounds
• Previous higher education teaching experience
• Experience teaching with modality in which course is offered
• Practical experience in an applied field aligned with a departmental program area
