[Remote] Enterprise Business Development Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage, powering production infrastructure for major companies. They are seeking an Enterprise Business Development Representative to develop outbound sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and identify conversion opportunities while fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage MinIO’s intelligence systems to identify potential prospects and generate leads
  • Develop strategies to convert existing MinIO’s vast ecosystem of open-source users into commercial customers
  • Develop strategies to attract new enterprise customers to the MinIO value proposition
  • Craft creative, personalized emails and email sequences to articulate the value of a commercial relationship with the goal of meetings and opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing team to enhance lead generation efforts
  • Constantly assess the data on the work, continuously optimizing it
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Utilize the full suite of technology tools (SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach) tools to track interactions, progress, and conversions

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on data infrastructure SaaS solutions
  • Outstanding writing and phone communication skills, capable of engaging and persuading executives
  • Highly creative approach to sales and problem-solving, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in email sequencing and platforms, with a strong understanding of digital communication tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Software, Data Analytics or a related field preferred
