  • Serve as the primary engineering interface for hyperscale clients, translating operational and technical requirements into engineered solutions
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external engineering resources, consultants, EPC partners, and OEMs to ensure engineering deliverables align with project objectives, client requirements, and owner standards
  • Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, controls, civil, and commissioning disciplines
  • Oversee the design and integration of high-voltage systems, medium-voltage distribution, generator interconnections, paralleling switchgear, substations, and data center electrical infrastructure
  • Ensure alignment with mission-critical reliability standards including 2N, N+1, and redundant power architecture requirements
  • Evaluate and develop integrated power solutions including gas-fired generation, microgrids, hybrid energy systems, energy storage technologies, and utility-connected architectures
  • Support utility interconnection strategy, grid integration studies, and coordination with transmission and distribution providers to ensure successful project development and execution
  • Drive technical compliance with applicable codes and standards including NERC, NFPA 70, IEEE, NEC, and relevant state and federal environmental regulations
  • Support permitting strategy and technical documentation for environmental and regulatory approvals
  • Manage technical relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and engineering vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of engineering outputs
  • Develop project execution strategies, engineering schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans for large capital projects
  • Provide engineering leadership during construction, commissioning, startup, and operational handover to ensure engineering intent, reliability objectives, and performance requirements are fully achieved

  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in power systems, utility-scale generation, transmission/distribution, or mission-critical data center infrastructure
  • Strong background in data center power systems, hyperscale infrastructure, or mission-critical facility design
  • Proven experience managing large-scale multidisciplinary projects from development through commissioning and operational handover
  • Deep technical expertise in power system engineering includes load flow studies, short circuit analysis, protective relaying, arc flash studies, and generator paralleling
  • Strong understanding of medium-voltage distribution, UPS systems, switchgear, substations, and reliability-driven electrical architecture
  • Experience working directly with hyperscale clients, major utilities, or large industrial energy users
  • Ability to lead client-facing technical discussions, executive presentations, and complex stakeholder alignment
  • Strong project management capability including schedule development, budgeting, and engineering risk management
  • Proficiency with engineering software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and modern productivity tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Direct experience supporting hyperscale data center developments, AI infrastructure projects, or mission-critical power solutions for major cloud, AI, digital infrastructure, or technology companies
  • Experience with natural gas-fired power generation, reciprocating engines, combustion turbines, or combined cycle plants
  • Experience with environmental permitting processes including TCEQ, EPA, and state-level regulatory agencies
  • Understanding of AI compute infrastructure and high-density power requirements
  • Experience in owner's engineering, developer-side, or owner-operator project environments
  • US-based position - must be authorized to work in the United States
